Progresso's history began in 1932 in Garanhuns, withim Pernambuco. Its founder John Tude Melo began working at age 12 as a baggage handler, at 18 he was a truck driver. Soon he became the owner of a automobile repair shop, and thereafter began to acquire trucks, to form his own fleet. Nowadays Progresso continues evolving, bringing more comfort and safety to its customers.
