Danubio Azul

The history of the company Danubio Azul (Blue Danube) is confused with the life of its founder, who from his childhood achieved many objectives and responsibilities. Roque Felicio began working from an early age, accompanied his father Felippe Felicio (a Lebanese migrant) who was a salesman in the Mococa region, a city in the interior of São Paulo.
Studying was necessary, but he could only take the first grade. Times were hard, so Roque needed to work to help his father and family. As a teenager he worked as a fabric salesman. After some years he started his own business, a local in CAJURU (SP) that he named: “Feira do Lar”. He sold all kinds of things! From food to utensils, tools and refrigerators (which at that time were a novelty). His motto was "The profit is not in the sale but in the purchase".
When I arrived on a trip, he’d rest only after he had downloaded everything. He worked a lot and his entrepreneurial vision made him realize the need for a passenger transport that competed with the train (the only means of transport for Sao Paulo at that time). Danubio Azul was born in 1954, the company was named after the raft of Satrauss.
These were difficult times, the company started with the Cajaru - San Pablo line, with two new buses. Roque got married but then I envy with five children. A few years passed and, to his luck, he married again, this time with a young teacher.
